Heather’s love of watercolors, acrylics and ink has evolved from a childhood full of artistic exploration. Surrounded by a creative family and encouraging educators throughout her early years, she always turned to sketchbooks, paints and pens to fulfill her creative curiosity.

After college, Heather put aside her love of fine art to explore the technical world of printing and communications. She developed a career in the printing industry, but it wasn’t until the downtime of 2020 that Heather once again found her focus for drawing, painting and even surface design, which she continues to showcase on multiple products.

Heather launched her full-time business, Heather Barger Art, in 2023. From the waters of Lake Murray to the marshes of the low country, South Carolina’s beauty continues to be Heather’s main source of inspiration.
